Shoreditch and Old Street: London, October 2023

It was a hazy sort of sunshine when I went out to take these photos around east London. Old Street is undergoing quite a lot of change, as well as Shoreditch. Every time I go back new buildings have sprung up, and the area seems to be losing a lot of its edge in terms of street art, grime and creativity. Ultimately, you get a nicer area, but you lose a bit of soul as a city. Anyway, hopefully there is still some of that soul in these shots.
